Mary-Kathryn Bywaters is a Senior at the University of Mary Washington, majoring in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing. As an adult student in the Bachelor of Liberal Studies program, she has had the opportunity to live in various areas of our country including Arizona and California and had the privilege of volunteering in education, domestic violence, and child-centered programs. She is a member of Lambda Iota Tau, the national honor society for literature, and hopes to continue in the publishing industry by bringing the healing art of creative writing to the at-risk population.
